Cyberbullying is when someone bullies another through an
internet site such as Facebook and Twitter. It is very sad to say that many
people of my generation have virtually no filter on what they put on the
internet and they do not care about the repercussions of what they say. They do
not feel remorse for something that they just posted on a website. They do not
realize that just because someone is not speaking to you in person does not
mean that they do not have feelings and do not care about what you post or blog
about them. Cyberbullies should definitely be punished for their actions!

Should someone be expelled/fired for plagiarizing?
Plagiarism is a horrible thing. No
student or professional in any job should ever take another’s work. Not only is
it wrong, it is unprofessional. Anyone who is caught plagiarizing should be
fired. On the other hand, the punishment should vary for students in certain
grade levels. Sixth grade and under students should be warned the first time
they plagiarize and if it happens again there should be a more serious
consequence. Students seventh through twelfth should have a consequence the
first time it happens, but, I think that expulsion is too drastic. College
students should definitely have harsher punishments. If a college student has
multiple plagiarism incidents they should be expelled.

Topic #1: Overwhelmed or On Course?
A full week of high school is
complete! This week has definitely been a learning experience. The transition
from middle school to high school wasn’t as smooth and uncomplicated as I had
been hoping but I’m slowing but surely adjusting. Currently, I feel very overwhelmed!
The amount of material being taught during class and the homework given out
after is much more than I am used to dealing with. The class that I am having
the most difficulty with is Honors Freshman English. The class is so fast paced
that by the time the bell rings I hardly know what happened except that I have
a lot of homework to do! I anticipate that by the conclusion of next week, I will
have gotten accustomed to the pressure and work load of high school.
